Trevelyan Joins Fast-Growing NGP as President

NGP Software, a leading provider of campaign technology and services to Democrats and their allies, announced today that political technology innovator and experienced entrepreneur Stuart Trevelyan has joined the company as President.

“I’m looking forward to working with the NGP team to use innovative technologies and strategies to drive the success of NGP’s fantastic clients, and to build on NGP’s impressive growth and stellar reputation” said Trevelyan.

NGP Founder Nathaniel Pearlman said, “We’re thrilled to have Stu on board. He brings a great combination of a deep understanding of the political market, innovative product and strategy ideas, appreciation for a mission-driven company culture, and knowledge of how manage a growing business.”

Trevelyan has helped progressive campaigns and organizations implement high-ROI technologies and Internet strategies for over a dozen years. His previous firm, the Carol Trevelyan Strategy Group (CTSG), where he was the co-founder and CEO, grew to a staff of 70 operating profitably for 10 years, and facilitated the success of several hundred progressive candidate, elected official, and leading non-profit clients. CTSG offered innovative and best-of-breed software as a service advocacy and fundraising products, as well as Webby/Golden Dot/Pollie award winning internet strategy/services.

CTSG was acquired by Kintera (Nasdaq: KNTA) in 2004, where Stu became the General Manager with a team of 200 reporting to him. He left Kintera to be the Acting General Manager for Sharefare, a Silicon Valley pre-launch venture funded social networking company.

Before founding CTSG, Stu served President Clinton in 1993-1994 in White House Legislative Affairs, following efforts on the 1992 Clinton Transition Cabinet Confirmation Team, and as a member of the 1992 Clinton-Gore War Room.
