At the 2008 American Association of Political Consultants conference, NGP's work was recognized as the Kansas Democratic Party web site won the Silver Pollie for Best Web Site for a State Organization. The site features a blog by Governor Kathleen Sebelius, the ‘Buffalo Blog’ which provides timely news about Kansas and National politics, and invites user participation and discussion.

Another site component is an active event calendar that provides information about local party events. Frequently the site is used as a tool for fundraising for the purchase and rsvp requirements of ticketed events. The ‘Caucusfinder’ tool helped supporters to locate their caucus locations on Super Tuesday. And links to Social Networking sites such as Facebook and YouTube demonstrate the party’s effort to reach out beyond their own web site to locate and communicate with their supporters. NGP is honored to have the chance to work with the Kansas Democratic Party, and by the award.
