One of the issues that helped Lefty decide whether he would run for President is the slaughter of horses for human food. All horse and quadruped work animals should be spared the slaughter house for human consumption. Lefty has always believed that farm work animals are meant for just that: work in and around the farm. It was the work on the farm and on the road that allowed Lefty to interact with humans who gave him the perspective needed to run for President.

If Lefty's colleagues on the farm were slaughtered prematurely, the farm would not have been able to accomplish as much work as it did. It is this value of teamwork that Lefty will bring to the White House. We as Americans will not be able to accomplish what is most important to us if we continue the partisan divisions that not only limits government but pits American against American.
