Growing up as a donkey one of the issues that troubled Lefty the most was the lack of choices available to a donkey. Due to this, Lefty supports increased funding for education of donkeys. Donkeys deserve the same opportunities as all Americans. This is why Lefty proposes an increase in the Donkey Scholarship, which gives donkeys a leg up in being able to afford college. With the ever increasing price of tuition, this scholarship is critical. Lefty also will work to increase funds to schools with trouble obtaining the educational materials needed to give donkeys the education they deserve. Lefty will also work tirelessly to support the efforts to start a donkey’s education early. Programs such as Early Start and pre-kindergarten education should be funded to provide the kind of base needed to keep our education system strong.
