Chris Casey

Chris Casey brings 15 years of experience at the leading edge of the Internet's use in politics to NGP. As leader of our Online Campaign Team, Chris and his team provide design, development and strategic consulting for every aspect of our clients' online campaigns.
Since 1994, when his efforts made Senator Edward Kennedy the first member of Congress with a web site, and later the same year also made Kennedy one of the early campaigns to venture online, Chris has worked with Democratic candidates to further develop the art of the online campaign. Chris remained at the U.S. Senate until 2000, helping to bring Congress online as part of the Democratic Technology and Communications Committee. Chris is the author of the book, The Hill on the Net: Congress Enters the Information Age (AP Professional, 1996), in which he shared his unique perspective on Congress' ups and downs in dealing with the Internet.
Before he joined NGP's team in 2004, Chris ran his own consulting business that designed and managed award-winning online campaigns for his Democratic clients.
