Our History
Nathaniel Pearlman founded NGP Software in 1997 as a one-man show. His consulting work with a number of high-profile Democratic fundraising firms led to the development of fundraising and compliance database software which became NGP Campaign Office™. With the help of a growing team, Nathaniel successfully bootstrapped the company, adding high profile clients like Hillary Clinton for Senate in 1999, John Kerry for President in 2004, and hundreds more.
Louis Levine joined the firm in 1999 and has been a driving force in building NGP's reputation for customer service and compliance know-how. In 2007, Stuart Trevelyan joined to guide the firm, adding his leadership and long experience in political technology, and the company experienced growth and matured. We're fortunate to have a great team of over 40 smart passionate people, with experience as staff on Presidential, Senate, Statewide, U.S. House, State Legislative and other campaigns.
NGP has developed into a friendly, casual, and hardworking workplace, where staff blow off steam at the ping pong table (which doubles as the conference table) or on the company softball team (the "Lefties"). The company has used retreats in Vermont to develop new strategies for helping our clients, as well as to build absurdly large bonfires, swim in the pond and play a round of disc golf or putt putt.
